2. How to File a Complaint

If you believe any content on Reality of World violates Indian law, your legal rights, or our Terms of Service, you may file a grievance by sending an email to contact@realityofworld.com with the subject line Grievance: [brief description].

Your complaint should include:

  • Your full name and contact details
  • The URL or description of the content you are reporting
  • The specific reason for the complaint (e.g. defamatory, illegal, impersonation)
  • Any supporting evidence or context

3. Response Timelines

Acknowledgement: Within 24 hours of receiving your complaint.

Resolution: Within 15 days of acknowledgement for most complaints. Content that involves child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content threatening public order will be acted upon within 72 hours.

4. Types of Complaints Accepted

  • Content that is unlawful under Indian law (IT Act 2000, IPC, or other statutes)
  • Defamatory, obscene, or hateful content
  • Content that violates your privacy or shares personal information without consent
  • Impersonation or identity fraud
  • Content that threatens national security or public order
  • Spam or commercially deceptive content

5. Escalation

If your grievance is not resolved within the timelines above, you may escalate to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) through the Public Grievance Portal (pgportal.gov.in) or approach a competent court of jurisdiction in India.

6. Content Moderation Policy

All user comments on Reality of World are moderated before or immediately after publication. Comments containing links, spam, abusive language, or hate speech are removed automatically. Borderline content is reviewed by a human moderator. The platform does not endorse or take responsibility for the views expressed in user comments — they represent the views of individual users only.
