By accessing or using Reality of World (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) at https://poll.realityofworld.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
The Platform is intended for residents of India aged 13 years or older. By registering, you represent that you are a resident of India and meet the minimum age requirement. You must provide an accurate Indian PIN code and state that reflects your genuine place of residence.
You may register using an email address or a supported third-party OAuth provider (Google, X/Twitter, Microsoft). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or influence poll outcomes.
Your location (PIN code and state) is used to determine which polls are shown to you. You may update your location once every six months. Providing a false location is a violation of these Terms.
Polls are created and moderated by administrators. Each registered user may cast one vote per poll option (or one vote total for single-choice polls). Attempting to vote more than once, using automated tools or bots, or coordinating with others to manipulate poll results is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
Comments and other content you submit must be lawful, respectful, and relevant to the poll topic. You must not post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, or that violates any applicable Indian law including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.
All content, design, and software on the Platform — excluding user-generated content — is the property of Reality of World and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any poll results. Poll results represent the opinions of registered users only and should not be construed as representative surveys or official data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reality of World shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
